Battery-operated shavers: Convenient. Good for a quick shave in the car, on the way to work or when travelling. Could be a good choice for minimal facial hair. Some maintenance required.
Disposable razors: Multiple-blade razors recommended for a closer shave. More expensive to maintain than powered shavers. Dispose of razor after 3-4 shaves for smoothest shave.
Traditional razors: More time consuming. More expensive to maintain than powered shavers. Change blade often.
There are certainly many factors to consider when choosing a shaver, such as skin type, hair type, shaving frequency, budget, convenience, shave quality, electric vs. manual, speed, etc. Think about what is most important for you in a shaver and then test the various products before choosing.
